We are seeking a talented and motivated freelance Marketing Coordinator to join our small team. As a Marketing Coordinator at Electric Cat Productions, you will be responsible for developing effective marketing strategies for our clients in the events industry. Your creativity and organisational skills will play a crucial role in executing successful marketing campaigns. This is a part-time position, requiring one day of work per week, with the possibility of increased hours based on project needs.


Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

- Collaborate with our team to develop comprehensive marketing strategies for clients in the events industry.

- Utilise Mailchimp, Squarespace, and Canva to design and execute visually appealing marketing materials and campaigns.

- Demonstrate a good understanding of social media platforms and leverage them to drive engagement and reach for our clients' events.

- Possess strong organisational skills to manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously.

- Communicate effectively, both written and spoken, with team members, clients, and external partners.


The Successful Candidate will display these preferred skills:

- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) for design-related tasks.

- Ability to craft enticing copy that resonates with the target audience.

- A creative mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional marketing solutions.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.


Qualifications / Experience:

- Proven experience in marketing, either as a coordinator or similar role.

- Familiarity with the events industry is a plus.

- Flexible and adaptable.


Weekly Hours: 1-2 days per week 

Pay Rate: Pay negotiable based on experience (DOE), but guaranteed above minimum living wage.
