Our history and heritage is deeply rooted in music, building a portfolio of 20 global festivals before selling the portfolio in 2019 to focus on our growing portfolio of venues that includes Printworks London, Depot Mayfield Manchester, Drumsheds London, Exhibition London and Magazine London.

Our team:

The Broadwick Live Marketing team leads best-in-class marketing campaigns to audiences across our portfolio of music venues such as Drumsheds, Printworks London, Silverworks Island and Field Day Festival.

We work collaboratively with the inhouse creative and programming teams and our partners to build and deliver multi-channel campaigns to drive ticket sales and brand awareness through innovation and creativity.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone to lead the marketing strategies for Broadwick Live, delivering best-in class marketing campaigns across our portfolio of music venues including social media, digital campaigns, advertising and creative projects.

Working collaboratively with the creative and programming teams, the Head of Marketing will lead the marketing team in building and delivering multi-channel campaigns to drive ticket sales, brand awareness and profitability.

What you’ll be accountable and responsible for:

Marketing

  • Leading the marketing team in defining and delivering the best in class marketing strategies from development to launch for all creative marketing campaigns for our entertainment teams.
  • Working with the Group Managing Director, Director of Entertainment and wider marketing team to define data and evidence based marketing strategies across Broadwick Live.
  • Championing data analysis to plan and manage an effective and adaptable performance marketing strategy.
  • Responsible for the development of creative briefs to guide the marketing creative process and support alignment of the internal marketing team on goals and strategies for content campaigns.
  • Monitoring trends and analysing data to develop opportunities for marketing channels that drive audience growth and engagement.
  • Responsible for designing and communicating brand identity, positioning and pricing strategies, ensuring consistency across marketing communications.
  • Creating key project management templates to organise and align cross functional teams.
  • Ensuring marketing strategies are delivered on target and that KPIs are constantly monitored based on the marketing team’s objectives and goals.
  • Building and optimising the return of investment of paid media campaigns across channels, on and offline.
  • Leading on crisis management for the brands and reputation risk.
  • Responsible for the management of agency and other external relationships across the entertainment portfolio.

Finance

  • Leading on the preparation and management of monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Broadwick Live marketing team and ensuring budgets are met, updated and campaigns have a strong return on investment.
  • Ensuring we are being given the best possible rates from agencies and other third parties.

Team

  • Liaising with the people team and company payroll across salaries, new starters/leavers and management of the bonus in partnership with the line manager.
  • Supporting the line manager with resource planning and leading on recruitment.
  • Leading on the performance management and development of direct line reports.
  • Managing People/HR proceedings as required.
  • Identifying training needs and guiding team development, working with the line manager and other business directors.
  • Creating a work environment that aligns with Broadwick values and principles.

Other

  • Carrying out ad hoc duties when required to.

 

You’ll need to have:

  • Ability to demonstrate significant experience leading 360 integrated campaigns and track record of working on music/entertainment/creative brands for 5+ years.
  • Proven track record of building and executing marketing strategies at a senior level for a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong paid media experience, specifically digital on and offline. Skills to build and implement social advertising campaigns directly, is a plus.
  • Experienced in managing big budget creative campaigns through to delivery.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritise multiple project goals for the teams you’ll be leading.
  • Intellectually curious with an analytical and process-oriented mind-set.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • A drive to learn new skills.
